Is it easy to install, do I need to be a nerd?
Nope, If you can upload the files to the server via ftp and set up one file with correct mysql database info, that's it!

Software package comes with an installer, where you can setup your team info and press one button. After that installation is done.

What are server requirements?
You need server with PHP and Mysql support. tplSoccerSite has been tested with MySQL 5.x and PHP 5.x.

I have used the free version of the software and want to update to full version. What should I do?
You can purchase the license via Shareit.com (you can find link from the left).

Once purchase is done, the full version files will be emailed to you personally. To update the software to full version, only thing you need to do is update the files.

Why do I need this software?
There are plenty of reasons. You don't have to any more update your site manually. All the information available in the web site is database driven, all actions are made via web-based interface.

For example you don't have to struggle any more with stats updating and match calendar. All actions that you do in web-based admin area, are updated dynamically to the website.

Is it possible to have several seasons?
Of course, this is the main point in this software. You can add as much seasons to the database as you want. The program can calculate statistics and records season by season or check the overall record.

Is there a news system?
Yes there is, latest news can be seen in the main page. There's also a news archive.

You can add news subject and news text to database along with the picture and picture text. Picture is uploaded via web-based interface.

What details can I enter for players?
You can enter: first- and last name, profile text, weight, height, date of birth, place of birth, previous clubs, transfer history and up to 3 player pictures

The program can calculate stats season by season in player's page along with the latest appearances, goals and bookings.

What are the stats that tplSoccerSite can calculate?
Wow, there are many...
Players: goals scored, minutes played, most appearances, most substitutions, most yellow cards and most red cards. In player's page you can see all those stats season by season.

Managers: Wins, losses, draws, win/draw/loss percent, longest win streak and longest undefeated streak. Just like with players, all these stats can be seen season by season in manager's page.

Opponents: history page with record against certain opponent (home, away, neutral and overall) with match details.

Recordbook: Biggest win (home/away/overall), biggest lost(home/away/overall), most goals in one match, most goals in draw, biggest attendance (home/away) and smallest attendance (home/away)

How can I change the colour theme?
Just change the values for colours in web-based interface (preferences).

I don't want to show top bookings to my visitors, what can I do?
Just disable it via web-based interface -> Preferences -> Disable 'Show top bookings'.

I need to insert stadium and tickets info to my visitors, this cannot be done in web-based interface. Do I need to manually edit the files?
No. There's a simple answer for this: Use 'Additional pages' in web-based interface. You can add as much as additional pages as you want and they are automatically added to tplSoccersite.

I want to do previews, is this possible in the system?
It is. You can enter preview text along with ticket and tv-info. Preview-link will appear automatically in 'next match'-block. In preview page you can see player list along with the injured and suspended players.

Timeline- and this season-pages, what are these?
Timeline: User of your site can enter start- and end-date and then the program will calculate: wins, draws, losses, goals scored, goals conceded, longest win streak, longest undefeated streak, mathematical stats about the matches, player with most goals, player with most appearances and player with most bookings.

This season: Calculates the same stats as timeline, but from matches from current (default) season. This page will also calculate player list with youngest and oldest player

I want to show logos for the teams in match reports, is it possible?
Yes, all logos can be uploaded via web-based interface.
